I was not thrilled when our hospital switched to all departmental solid colors because pants are very difficult to find that fit for me. I am a 2x sometimes 3x (depending on brand). The issue I usually have is the amount of extra material in the thigh area. These pants are wonderful! They weren't extra baggy in the thighs and I appreciate that! The elastic waste is comfortable and it's hard to tell from the pics but they have the slits on the sides of pant legs at the bottom. Something I do like! Would definitely recommend and I would say yes, they do run true to size.
